Ep 84: Change Your Life with Intuitive Eating - An Interview with McKelle Skirvin
Today is the FINAL episode of the Nutrition Redefined podcast! Starting next week, (beginning of August 2019) the podcast will be rebranded and called the Eat with Confidence podcast. I’ll be giving you all the details of why and what that means next week, but today is the last episode you’ll hear that cute little song and that intro that I’ve heard so many times I have every word memorized. I’m so excited about the new changes and I know you’ll love it too. The podcast is going to be even better and I can’t wait to spill the beans about all the details next week. For today, for the final episode of the Nutrition Redefined podcast, I’m bringing you the final interview for the July month of interviews.
My guest today is McKelle Skirvin! She is currently studying Health Promotion and Education at the University of Utah in hopes to pursue a Coordinated Masters in Dietetics and one day become a Registered Dietitian. In between her undergraduate and graduate pursuits, she plans on becoming certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
McKelle is passionate about Intuitive Eating, Health At Every Size, mindfulness, motherhood, breastfeeding, education and creating new things (she owns a business making high chair crumb + mess catchers - High-Bib Co. - go momtrepreneurs!). She enjoys spending time with her family, reading inspiring self-help books (shout out to Brené Brown), being outdoors backpacking or hiking, biking, traveling, sewing, and watching dramatic medical field TV shows (not sure if that is taboo as a future medical professional, but she loves it!).
